Therapy FAQs

  • To schedule an initial consultation, please complete the form in the Contact Us section. Your preferred therapist will contact you to discuss services and your ongoing availability. Once services are established, you will need to contact your therapist directly to cancel or reschedule appointments.

  • Our standard fee for all therapists is $150 per session. Sliding scale is available and can be discussed during an initial consultation.

  • We currently have two therapists that accept most insurances:

    Jasmaine Cash, LCSW
    Dan Cummings, LCSW-S

The remainder of our therapists are out-of-network providers. This means that they do not file claims with your insurance and only accept private pay. Out-of-network therapists can provide you with a super bill, which can you can forward to your insurance provider. Your therapist can provide more information on the reimbursement process if needed. Please note that if you use your insurance or request a superbill, your therapist is required to give you a mental health diagnosis.

    Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
